Types of braces for adults

Dental orthodontics problems with irregular teeth and the shape of the jaw bone spur. Orthodontics are used in two types, fixed and mobile, and each of these two models has different types.

·         Traditional metal braces: Metal or traditional braces are made of stainless steel or titanium. The three main parts of a brace are bracket, orthodontic wire and orthodontic elastic. Compared to other orthodontic methods, metal braces are stronger and their components do not break easily to interrupt the treatment process.

·         Ceramic braces: The brackets are made of ceramic and the same color as the teeth. By replacing colorless (transparent) or tooth-colored brackets instead of conventional metal brackets, orthodontics are less visible when talking and smiling. Of course, finally, the orthodontic wire that passed through the ceramic bracket can be seen.

·         Lingual braces: These braces are similar to traditional metal braces, but the brackets and wires are placed inside the teeth, making them virtually invisible from the outside.

·         Damon braces:

Damon's orthodontics or self-adjusting orthodontics have brackets that become tighter as the teeth move and are automatically adjusted. These brackets are smaller than fixed orthodontic brackets, and for this reason, they are associated with better aesthetics and less accumulation of bacteria around the bracket.

·         Invisible orthodontics:

It is one of the new methods of dental orthodontics, in which transparent ceramic molds are made for you by molding your teeth, with the help of which you start your orthodontic treatment. Another advantage of these templates is their mobility. In invisible movable orthodontics, because they are easily removed from the mouth, you can remove them from the mouth while eating and drinking.

·         Self-locking braces: These Lingual braces are similar to traditional metal braces, but instead of elastic bands, they use a special clip to hold the wire in place, which can reduce treatment time and discomfort.

Summary

Types of dental orthodontics are very common treatment methods to fix jaw and tooth abnormalities. If a person has messy teeth, overbite (protrusion of the upper jaw pain )  underbite (protrusion of the lower jaw) and crooked teeth, this method is used to treat and arrange the teeth.ge the teeth..
